And so it begins...

Since moving to Paris I have been thinking about starting a blog. I have been hesitant for so long, mainly because I've never considered myself a writer and I have never followed a lot of blogs. However since we moved here in July 2017 there have been so many crazy stories, exciting moments and thoughts and ideas that I would have loved to have had an outlet to share.

Since moving to Paris one of the biggest gifts I have been given is time. I am a trained social worker, however because of a number of reasons I am not able to work as a social worker currently. This has put me in a different 'in between' season. I have actually found it difficult having so much free time. I am usually a productive and hard worker, however not being in a routine has been really challenging, and tends to bring out my lazy side too!

I have had a few people mention to me that I should start a blog, and so finally I have decided to listen and give it a go! So here it goes! I don't expect people to read each post, but if you want to know what's going on in my life here in Paris, then here's my travel journal for you!

I also have lots of people messaging me before they travel to Paris asking about good coffee spots and top things to do. So I have created a page on here with all the ideas and advice I could think of. Hopefully a one stop shop. So check that out too if you are planning to travel to our beautiful city!
